Move to Amend-Ohio
Move to Amend Ohio is the state chapter of the national coalition seeking to amend the US Constitution to abolish corporate constitutional rights. Move to Amend was formed following the January 2010 Citizens United vs. Federal Election Commission Supreme Court decision in that corporations are "persons" with free speech "rights" to buy elections.
Human beings are people; corporations are legal fictions. No where in the Constitution are corporations mentioned. They were not intended to possess rights, including Bill of Rights protections. The Supreme Court is misguided in principle, and wrong on the law. In a democracy, the people rule.
